I agree that he should be in focus. At least more than this. I like the lamp, and the light provided by it, but I think if you had moved to the left a little and got less of the lamp and more of him, it would be a better shot, and more in focus. Focus on the lamp, him, his hands, something behind him… That way, if you don’t end up with a good picture like this, you have alternatives to choose from. Personally, I would like to see this photo with him in focus. Same lighting, same settings… everything. Just with him in focus.

I just like this photo because of the lighting on his face, and I like that he’s not the thing in focus. Maybe he should be, I don’t know.
