lydiasphotos: A flag waves in the breeze on the battleship the U.S.S. North Carolina in Willmington, N.C.  I thought the flag made a nice photo against the blue sky. (ISO 100, f/5.6 , 1/800 sec, 33 mm) I love taking pictures of flags. It just feels so patriotic to see it for the beauty it contains. It’s very much in focus and it’s at a very nice angle. The only thing I would say would be to have taken it from the other side. It’s just always strange to see it backward. I tried some shots around the Washington Monument because it is encircled by flags, but the wind was blowing in the wrong direction. I think that if you walked around to the other side this would have been perfect. :) (hc)
